Russian for Company
In 1848 the revolution woke public life. In Stanis lav there was created "Rus Rada" (alongside with Polish). They company organized a sq ua dron of Nati onal Guards and starte d printing the first newspaper. Ukrainian Russian for company duties were elected to the newly established Parliament Kiev.
The second half of the 19th century is marked by fast development russian of industrial relations and creating enterprises. The railway built in 1866 made some imp act, too. At that ti me the locomotive company repair factor y, distillery, leather plan “Plai” were established. 19 ~ IAESTE Ukraine 2008 constituent assembly of the “Rus Woman Society” (later called “Ukrainian Woman Society”). This initiated the organized woman movement in Ukraine. During the First World War, the frontline was for some time placed in the area of the city, Russian and Austrians and Russian company fought several battles in Stanislawow and its vicinity, and in 1917 Russian forces burned the central districts. In October 1918, the Austro-Hungarian Empire collapsed, and the Western Ukrainian People’s Republic (ZUNR) was proclaimed. Russian Course in Kiev in 1920, the Red Army took over the city for a brief period. In the 1939 invasion of Poland by German and Soviet forces, the territory of Ivano-Frankivsk was captured by the Soviets in September 1939 and included into the Ukrainian SSR. Between fall of 1939 and June 1941, Soviet regime ordered thousands of inhabitants of the city, mostly the Polish, to leave their houses and move to Siberia, where most of them perished.
